Terms of Service

1. Agreement to These Terms

These Terms of Service form a binding agreement between you and Luck Timing ("we", "us", "our") covering the Luck Timing mobile app, the lucktiming.com website, and any related services we offer (together, the "Service").

By creating an account, downloading the app, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. About Luck Timing

Luck Timing offers personalised BaZi (Four Pillars of Destiny) readings, day-by-day timing guidance, and related Chinese metaphysics content. The Service is delivered through our mobile app (Android, with iOS in beta) and our website. Some features are free; others require payment, either as a subscription or a one-time purchase.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service (or the minimum digital-consent age in your country, whichever is higher). If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you must have a parent or guardian's permission. You must also be permitted by law to use the Service in your country.

4. Your Account

Some features require an account. When you create one, you agree to provide accurate information and to keep it current. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials confidential and for all activity that happens under your account.

You may close your account at any time from within the app's Settings, or by following the steps on our delete-account page. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms or that pose a risk to other users.

5. What the Service Provides

Depending on your account, plan, and country, the Service may include:

• Your BaZi chart and saved profiles for yourself and people you add
• Daily, monthly, and annual forecasts based on traditional formulas
• Life-area readings (career, finance, health, family, education, travel, social life, spirituality, and others)
• Wealth Timing — premium day-by-day timing windows for money-related decisions
• Compatibility and matchmaking features that compare two charts
• Social features such as friends, messages, and activity feeds
• An auspicious-date calendar and timing tools
• A product shop for related digital and physical items, where available
• A referral programme that earns store credits on qualifying purchases

6. Subscriptions and Purchases

Premium features (including Wealth Timing and matchmaking subscriptions) can be purchased either inside the app via Apple's or Google's in-app purchase systems, or online via our website using a secure third-party payment processor. The exact options shown depend on the platform you use and your country.

Prices are shown before you confirm payment. Prices may differ between regions and may change over time; the price shown at checkout is the price you pay for that purchase.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can cancel renewals at any time:

• App Store subscriptions: through your Apple ID account settings
• Google Play subscriptions: through Google Play's subscription manager
• Web subscriptions (lucktiming.com): from your account page on our website, or by contacting us

7. Refunds

Most digital purchases are final once the relevant reading or unlocked content has been revealed. Because digital readings can be screenshotted, treating them as final sale is what allows us to keep pricing honest.

Technical-failure exception. If we capture payment but fail to deliver the purchased content — for example, a payment goes through but the reading or window is never generated — email support@lucktiming.app within 24 hours of the purchase and we will refund in full.

App Store and Google Play. Purchases made through Apple's App Store or Google Play are governed by Apple's or Google's refund policy; please contact those stores directly for refund requests on those purchases. We can help with anything those stores can't handle.

Web purchases. Purchases made on lucktiming.com are governed by these Terms. The 24-hour technical-failure window above applies; otherwise, completed digital deliveries are final.

Activation codes. Activation codes purchased on lucktiming.com are final sale once redeemed in the app — the granted Wealth Timing period cannot be revoked. Codes that have NOT yet been redeemed are refundable under the technical-failure exception above. Codes are bearer tokens (we never store the plaintext, only a hash) — if you lose the email containing your code, we may not be able to recover the original; contact support and we will help you where we can.

Subscriptions. When you cancel a subscription, your access continues until the end of the current billing period. We do not pro-rate refunds for partial periods unless required by your local law.

Physical products (where applicable, via the product shop) may be returned within 14 days of delivery if unused and in original condition. Shipping costs for returns are not refundable unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect.

Refunds and your earned credits. If a refund is issued for a purchase that previously triggered a referral commission to another user, the corresponding credit may be reversed from that user's balance. This keeps the programme fair to everyone.

8. Refer & Earn

Eligible users can earn store credits when people they refer make qualifying purchases on the website. Programme details, including current commission rates, vesting periods, and minimum withdrawal amounts, are shown on the Refer & Earn page and the Programme Terms.

Credits earned through the programme are personal, non-transferable, and have no cash value until withdrawn under the programme's rules. We may adjust, claw back, or revoke credits in cases of fraud, payment reversal, abuse, or breach of these Terms.

9. Compatibility, Matchmaking, and Social Features

The Service includes features that let you connect with other users, including friends, messages, compatibility comparisons, and matchmaking tools. When you use these features, other users may see information you choose to share — such as your display name, profile photo (optional), and any information visible on your shared profile or in messages you send.

By using these features, you agree to:

• Provide only your own information, or information you have the right to share
• Treat other users with respect — no harassment, hate speech, threats, sexual content involving minors, or impersonation
• Not solicit, scrape, or commercially exploit other users' information
• Not use these features to send spam, scams, or unsolicited bulk messages
• Report any abuse or safety concerns through the in-app support channel

10. Disclaimers — Entertainment, Not Professional Advice

Readings and timing windows are interpretations grounded in traditional Chinese metaphysics. They are provided for general guidance, reflection, and entertainment.

The Service is not a substitute for professional advice. Do not rely on it for:

• Medical, mental-health, or other healthcare decisions
• Financial, investment, tax, or insurance decisions
• Legal advice
• Career or relationship counselling
• Decisions about other people's lives without their consent

11. Intellectual Property

The Service — including the app, website, software, designs, text, images, audio, and the timing-window methodology — is owned by Luck Timing or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for your own non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, scrape, redistribute, or commercially exploit any part of the Service without our written permission.

12. Your Content

You retain ownership of the information you provide to the Service (such as birth details and profile entries). You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, process, and display that content solely so we can operate the Service for you and provide the features you requested. We will not sell your personal content.

13. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Break any applicable law or regulation
• Infringe anyone else's rights, including intellectual property and privacy rights
• Upload viruses or other malicious code, or attempt to interfere with or compromise the Service
• Bypass security, rate limits, or access controls
• Use bots or automated tools to access, copy, or scrape any part of the Service
• Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone
• Re-package or resell our readings, calculations, or content

14. Third-Party Services

The Service depends on third-party providers (for example, payment processors, app stores, push-notification services, and AI providers). Your use of those services is also governed by their terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of third parties.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost profits, lost data, or decisions you make based on the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) one hundred Malaysian Ringgit (RM 100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow some of these limitations. Where the law gives you stronger protections, those protections apply.

16. Indemnification

You agree to defend and hold us harmless from claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) that arise from your use of the Service, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of someone else's rights.

17. Disputes and Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before bringing a formal claim, please email support@lucktiming.app so we can attempt to resolve the issue directly. If we cannot resolve it within 30 days, the courts of Malaysia have exclusive jurisdiction.

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to bring any claim individually and not as part of a class action. Any claim must be brought within one (1) year of the event giving rise to it.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms when our Service or applicable law changes. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or by email. If you keep using the Service after a change takes effect, you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the Service.

19. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if we are required to by law, or if we discontinue the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including disclaimers, intellectual property, limitations of liability, and dispute resolution — will continue to apply.

20. General

These Terms (together with our Privacy Policy and any programme-specific terms) are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service. If any part is held unenforceable, the rest remains in force. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of the right to enforce it later. You may not assign your rights under these Terms; we may assign ours.
